Finding the perfect bra can be a game-changer for your comfort and confidence. Here’s a friendly checklist to help you ensure you get the best fit every time you shop.

Have Your Measurements Ready!

An essential element for your ultimate bra-fitting checklist.

Each brand uses their own measurement size guide, so having your measurements on hand will reduce the number of bras you need to try on. Remember to follow the brand’s suggested measurements, not just your usual size.

Before you hit the stores, measuring your band and cup size accurately is crucial. Here’s a link on how to measure. Take your measurements using my method and record them to compare to size charts from each individual brand.

Checking the Band Fit

The band is the bra’s main support system, so getting it right is essential.

Snug Fit: The band should be snug but not constrictive. You should be able to fit two fingers comfortably underneath.
Level Band: Ensure the band sits level around your body and doesn’t ride up at the back. If it does, you might need a different band size, a differently shaped band, or a firmer fabric or elastic.
