The correct way to put on a bra

The correct way to put on a bra, or, how not to damage your bra when putting it on.

The correct way to put on a bra.

Bras must be put on correctly for comfort and fit and not to damage the underwire or the cup.

This sounds like a very strange statement. Once you know “how to” you’ll understand the importance of correctly putting on your bra.

Knowing the result helps make more sense of how to put on your bra.

Result:

You want your entire breast tissue encased and supported by the cup.

The underwire should sit flat against your chest at all points whilst fully encircling your breast.

The band creates 80% of the support in a bra. Always start on the loosest hook setting. With wear, the band will naturally expand, and then you can go to tighter closure options. The bra band should fit like the one in the photo below. It should run parallel to the floor. It should not ride up.

The straps should be firm but not dig into your shoulders. To test for the correct fit, you should be able to comfortably place two fingers under your bra strap. No more, no less.

Always start with the loosest hook and eye.

🎯 Pro Tip:

The fit of the underwire and the band are crucial for a correctly fitting bra.

FUN FACT💡

Correctly fitting bras are more comfortable than not wearing a bra.

The correct way to put on a bra.

There are 2 options.

I will give you the best option first.

The second option is the easiest for most women, including myself!

The correct way to put on a bra: Option #1

Hold your bra in front of you, with the inside of the bra facing you, right way up.

Put your arms through the straps.

STOOP, or bend forward, placing the bra in place with your breasts in the cup.

Fasten the hook and eye on the loosest setting. (This is the tricky bit! The bit I can’t do.)

While still stooped over, gently with your opposite hand to each breast, scoop all of your breast tissue and swoop it up and towards the centre of your body. This is lifting the breast into the cup.

Then position the band to ensure the underwires are sitting at your breast root, directly against your chest, comfortably encircling your breast.

This technique is called the stoop, scoop and swoop!

Next, adjust your straps so that you can comfortably place two fingers under the straps.

The correct way to put on a bra: Option #2

The only difference is the initial putting on and hooking up.

Have your bra the correct way up ( not cups facing down) around your waist, with the hook and eye to the front.

Fasten the hook and eye on the loosest setting.

Very gently in small movements, twist your bra around your waist until the cups are to the front.

Stoop forward, put your arms through the straps and position the bra as you would wear it.

Then do the scoop and swoop as in option #1.

Position the band and the underwires and adjust the bra straps the same as in option #1.

If any of these fitting points are not correct, I recommend starting from the beginning and trying again. If this fails on your second attempt, you may need to be refitted for correct sizing.

Lingerie for your Boudoir Photoshoot

Lingerie for your Boudoir Photoshoot should be classic, flattering and make you feel special.

Shopping for your Boudoir Photoshoot

So you have found your Boudoir Photographer! They will guide you on this adventure, creating photos to treasure and look back on for years.

Having a well-planned lingerie wardrobe for your photo shoot will give you stunning results.

Write a list

Lingerie for Boudoir photography needs planning to achieve different looks. This is the time to glam it up!

Your photographer will have a hair and make-up artist they use, which, if you like their photo gallery, you already like the styling of the hair and make-up artist.

Now for the fun part… The Lingerie shopping list.

To create a “look” you will need sets.

A few key items to create your sets are:

A bodysuit.

Bodysuits look good on any body shape or size. If you are larger-breasted, a bodysuit with underwires/a built-in bra will be more flattering and comfortable. Bodysuits can be sheer with lots of lace or opaque. Myla of London makes a bodysuit that has the most flattering lace design over the sheer black fabric. The illusion created by the shaping of the lace is magic.

Stockings are a must. Legs look lovely in stockings. I would suggest a black pair and a pair in a nude colour. This will give you at least two different looks. Stockings can be added to just about any lingerie you take to your photo shoot. Pro tip – take two pairs of each colour in case disaster strikes and you ladder one!

For a classic yet dramatic look, wear a strapless bra, high-waist undies and stockings. This is full glam!

Absolute bespoke bra and undies for this set. Some delicate bling would be fabulous.

I would suggest this set in a classic colour like black or blush pink. This set can be more opaque, the next set suggestion is for lots of lace.

The allure of lace

The next set to plan is a lace set. The Colour is up to you, but I would still keep it more classic or a colour you know you look good in. Don’t forget, the hint of flesh showing through the lace is the key. The lace will be the wow factor.

This set consists of a bra, undies, suspender belt and stockings.

With this one, you and the lace, are the heroes. The bra can be any style that you feel comfortable in. A balconette bra is a great choice. It will show the lovely lace and cleavage for a more smouldering look. This look is also a good opportunity for a lovely lace bralette. It’s another design option for your unique style.

The undies need to be bikini-style to enable the suspender belt to show its beauty. And yes, you put the suspenders on first, then your undies.

Don’t forget your silky stockings to complete the set.

Gorgeous!

The cheeky photo

A Boudoir Photoshoot is not complete without a cheeky photo of your cheeks. Not the ones on your face.

The set you need for this would be a bra or bralette and a well-fitting thong. This is another opportunity for some soft stretch lace. Either high waist or mid waist. But most importantly, you need a good fit. You don’t want any bagging or sagging. it’s not flattering. If you just can’t bring yourself to wear a thong, my ruched bottom undies will give a similar effect. It will be fabric, not skin, but the gorgeous round shape will be the result. I would recommend my soft, sheer fabric. With the ruching, it will “hug” perfectly.

The cheeky photo is also perfect for the “something your partner wears”. A shirt or jeans are great options for this. Over the cheeky thong for the shirt or the cheeky thong just peeking out from the jeans.

A ‘Gidget” set

Have a fun set to show your fun/playful side.

I recommend a bra, suspender, and bikini undies. Make this one fun. Lots of colours, frills, flowers, whatever you love.

Carry your list with you

Plan your Lingerie Wardrobe for your Boudoir Photoshoot as soon as you even consider booking your photographer.

Carry your list with you so if you happen to see, either in a store or online, the lingerie you love or an item that needs to be ticked off your list.

Also, have a list of other items to take with you. Some fabulous stilettos, jewellery, and your favourite perfume. These items add to the glamour you’re creating.

Pro tip! When planning your lingerie wardrobe for a special event like a Boudoir Photoshoot, ensure you “bespoke” your lingerie. Those “one-off” details, bespoke details, make it even more precious. Share your vision with your lingerie designer. And let their imagination run wild. 🤩

Finding your perfect fitting undies

Finding your perfect fitting undies, knowing this gives you the tips you need to wear comfortable undies every time.

What to look for and what to avoid when finding your perfect-fitting undies

If you haven’t read my blog Flattering undies for your body shape”, I think it’s worth taking the time to read it as it will give you more insight into which shapes to look for and which to avoid for your body type.

It’s a great idea to have a cheat sheet on your most flattering styles.

What to look for?

Once you have an idea of the design or style that is best for your body shape, then decide if you are looking for a specific purpose or outfit. Style and colour may be something to consider.

The fabric type and feel are always important. Especially the gusset, as this is against your skin in a most sensitive area. It needs to be soft and breathable. I use organic bamboo for all gussets as it is soft as butter, naturally antibacterial ( think about it! Bacteria cause odour.) and it’s breathable.

Check the fabric the undies are made from.

Is it soft?

Does it stretch in the direction/s needed for this particular design? If it stretches, does it “recover”? (the fabric, elastics and/or lace should all “recover” and bounce back into place)

ruched bottom undies

No one wants “camel toe”

Finding your perfect fitting undies includes looking at some designs you may not want.

Some undies with a centre front seam may cause a “camel toe” which is not at all comfortable and not a great look either. A centre front seam works with some fabrics when they are the correct width. If they have a firm-ish gusset, not loosely sewn, this will also stop any unwanted movement.

No unwanted wedgies

Finding your perfect fitting undies includes a physical fit check!

Put your new undies on.

Raise your knees, one at a time, to the front and then outwards.

The bottom should stay in place.

If it creates a “wedgie” the undies are either too small or not the correct design for you.

Try any of my ruched bottom undies. As long as you get the size correct, they will stay in place.

Make a note of the styles and fabrics that work best for you.

Lace: history and role in Lingerie

Lace, history and Role in Lingerie

The long history of lace has played a role in our modern lace lingerie.

Fun fact about lace. The origin from a Latin word means “noose”. A noose describes an open space outlined with rope or thread.

The Origins of Lace in History

Many historians strongly dispute the origins of lace and lace-making. This therefore, makes it truly impossible to know exactly when and where lace-making began. So this is what we do know.

An Italian claim is a will from 1493 by the Milanese Sforza family.

A Flemish claim is in a painting from around 1485 by Hans Memling.

The making of lace evolved from other techniques, making it impossible to say that it originated in any one place. The fragility of lace means that few exceedingly old specimens are in existence today.

Bobbin and Needle Lace: history and Role in Lingerie

One variety of lace, made with a single needle and thread, is called needle lace. Bobbin lace entails the plaiting of many threads.

Both varieties were made in Italy in the 1400s. We know this for sure, because documenting lace in Italy in the 15th century is a list of fine laces from the inventory of Beatrice d’Este, Duchess of Milan, from 1493.

In Venice, lace-making was originally a pastime of mostly noblewomen.

Brussels were making Lace in the 1400s. Samples of such lace have survived! Belgium and Flanders were also major centres for the creation of primary bobbin lace starting in the 1500s. You will still find it produced there today.

According to the history books, lace arrived in France with Catherine de Medici. Newly married at the time to King Henry II in 1533. She brought Venetian lace-makers with her to France.

The French Royal Court, from popularised fashions, influenced the lace. It was so delicate and graceful, compared to the heavier needle or point laces of Venice. Examples of French lace are: Alencon, Argentan and Chantilly.

Lace became high fashion from the early 17th century onwards. Marie Antoinette influenced the popularity of lace. She loved everything luxurious and extravagant.

Lace, worn as a status symbol

Lace was originally made from silk and linen, while some textile artisans even made fabric using gold or silver thread. Cotton thread and synthetic fibres are both used in lace-making today.

Lace is a luxury textile. Traditionally and today, it takes a lot of time and expertise to make.

Lace-making is a time-consuming process, requiring skill and dedication. The results are worth it!

Lace popularity

Lacework was used extensively throughout the Renaissance. In the 17th century, France became the first world power in fashion where lace was used in many designs.

France has become the most diligent and versatile lace manufacturer. There is a beautiful constellation of lace weavers in France that the top fashion designers turn to.

The most expensive lace is Leavers Lace. Only a few manufacturers of the type of lace remain in Northern France. The machinery has changed little since its creation by Englishman John Leavers, in Nottingham, England, in 1831.

The Softest Lace and Its Role in Modern Lingerie

The lace that is ideal for some lingerie designs is elastic because it is very soft and should never be scratchy.

We have Lady Duff-Gordon to thank for starting the 20th-century evolution of Lingerie ( French translation of undergarments).

Lady Duff-Gordon pioneered the usage of soft fabrics that mirrored the feel of idealised flesh, deliberately appealing to the sense of touch. The “mannequin parade” was a precursor to the modern fashion show; she originated this! She was key to popularising less restrictive corsets. She promoted alluring and pared-down lingerie. Lady Duff-Gordon survived the sinking of the Titanic. What a woman!

Lady Duff-Gordon paved the way for other high-fashion design concepts. Redefining lingerie as a luxury item with a strong appeal to the fashion-oriented consumer.

Ada Masotti, the founder of La Perla in 1954, embodies the luxury of lace lingerie in her legendary silk and lace slips. She is a pioneer in luxury lingerie.

How to care for lace garments

Follow the care instructions after checking them thoroughly for content and specific care details.

Make sure not to wring the lace. You risk distorting the fibres.

Lay flat to dry, away from direct sunlight.

Gift Card ideas and options

There are many ideas and options for using Gift Cards.

Card values don’t have to be used all at once.

You can, at any time, top up the card value.

At any time you can check your card balance.

You can give them as a gift to someone special.

Gift Card ideas and options: for the Bride to be!

Gift Cards are a great option for an engagement gift. The bride-to-be will have her lingerie wardrobe custom-made for her wedding day and honeymoon.

Package ideas and options

Another idea is to give “A Season Of Lingerie”.

This is a VIP service. For any new fabric, lace or anything super special, our VIPs receive a sample in the mail, or a photo emailed to them. VIPs then have the first option for any limited edition collections. As the Gift Card value doesn’t have to be used all at once, with a Gift Card of a larger value, I could arrange a monthly delivery of lingerie in the latest fabrics, laces and colours. What a surprise that would be!

Contact me for any special package you would like to put together.

For special occasions coming up or a special someone you would like to spoil with bespoke lingerie, a specially tailored package would be ideal.

Introduce a friend to your favourite undies

ruched bottom undies

A Gift Card idea! You can introduce a friend with a card to cover a pair of undies. You know, the ones you always wear because they are so comfortable and look fabulous! With a Gift Card, your friend could then decide on the style and fabric she would like to try.

Gift a friend who can never find the underwear she loves

You’ve found Sunbird Lingerie. You can buy your custom-made lingerie at any time and know it will fit just the way you like. Share this discovery with a friend. Especially one who never seems to be comfortable in her underwear. Or to introduce her to quality components and different fabrics from the ones she may be used to.

Reward yourself!

Give yourself a Gift Card and top it up when you feel you deserve to be rewarded.

We all need an incentive to achieve something that we find difficult to complete.

Why are there so many different amounts?

The Gift Cards are listed in lots of amounts. This is so you can buy a package or a dollar value as they can be used as either full or part payment.

I have included amounts that relate to stock items. These cover everything from the fitting pack, ( what a great gift to add to the order). Then they go up in amounts to cover individual items. So if you wanted to gift a bra and undies set, you could select those two amounts. If you wanted to gift a bra and two undies to give a three-piece set, you would select the corresponding amounts.

There are so many ways to use Gift Cards.

Thank you for reading. I hope this has given you some fresh ideas.

Bespoke Bras and Undies: How to order

It’s so easy to order your very own custom-made, bespoke bras and undies from Sunbird Lingerie.

bespoke bras and undies: how to order
Bespoke Bras and Undies: How to order

Custom fitting is more time-consuming than just cutting and sewing to a pre-set size chart.

That’s why custom-made lingerie has the luxury of time spent making it the best. The benefits are well worth the effort. Bespoke bras and undies are the most comfortable to wear, and the very best support and shape for your figure. The right height, the right length, the right strap position, the right everything!

bespoke luxury lingerie Australian made

The fitting process for your bespoke bras and undies

Once you place your order, I will email instructions on how to measure. Each measurement is taken in a very specific way to get the correct fit. A new tape measure is a must. Tape measures will stretch over time, so you just won’t know if yours is correct or not. A new tape measure assures the measurements will be correct.

I explain exactly how and where to measure for both bras and undies.

There is a little trick that helps you find where your actual waist technically sits. Our waist is often a lot higher than most would think it is.

So, to find your waist, tie some thin elastic around where you think your waist is and wear it for a little while. Or simply move around a bit and it will settle on your waist. Easy!

I also have a little trick to get the best hip measurement! Not giving that tip away.

For bras, one of the most crucial components that need to be fitted perfectly is the underwire.

This is why I have put together a fitting kit that, after a few questions, I will make especially for your requirements. The kit contains a good quality, brand-new tape measure for accuracy, some thin elastic to tie around your waist, printed sheets with instructions for each measurement and a spot to record those measurements and a few underwires for you to fit. ( with instructions of course) The underwires need to be fitted to both breasts. It is possible to require different underwires for each breast. Just think about the difference that would make to the level of comfort for someone in that position.

If all else fails, a fitting via Zoom should resolve any fitting issues.

The best part…….

Once I have your sizing perfect, I create your master pattern for both bras and undies, which I can then use to create other styles. Bespoke designs especially for you.

You won’t know until you try.

My shopping experience

Shopping for bras online. My little experiment was to ensure the best policies and customer experience for all Sunbird Lingerie customers. So, this is the story of my shopping experience.

my shopping experience

Putting myself in my customers’ shoes!

To truly understand how it feels to shop for bras online, I need to be a customer myself.

So, I found three separate online bra shops. I just happen to know my bra size! Well, I thought I did! More to come on that topic.

The bra shops are all well-known brands that have been around for a very long time.

I decided on the bras I wanted to order. Three different shapes and three different colours.

Now I’m going to break down the three orders from my shopping experience into #A, #B and #C

Bra #A

Online ordering was easy. The shopping cart was user-friendly. Postage was added at the end.

The package arrived and I was excited! I haven’t ordered a bra for years. It was something quite different for me.

Disappointment set in when I opened my parcel. The bra had been folded and put into the Austalia Post bag with no tissue paper or wrapping around it. Just the bra. It didn’t feel very special at that point.

The colour was close to what I was expecting. It did feel a bit flimsy to me, but I am used to my bras which are not flimsy. That is one difference I had forgotten about. I use the best quality components in all of my lingerie. Large companies have to make as much profit as possible so every cent counts. And they are selling mega amounts, so any additional cost adds up to lots of dollars. If they can save on any component, they will as that is their business model. My business model is different so it’s a bit unfair to compare. But it was the experience of putting myself in customers’ shoes.

Next test- trying it on.

Being careful to leave all the tags on, I tried #A on.

That’s when I checked the returns policy.

Unfortunately, the band was way too big and rode up at the back. The underwires were so wide, they were poking into my armpits. The cups nearly fitted, but because the underwires were not my size, they pulled the cup so it couldn’t give shape and support.

Bitter disappointment.

I emailed this brand to ask for help. I was given the returns address and the returns policy.

No assistance in finding a bra that might fit.

This produced fear for my next two bras, yet to arrive.

Bra #B

Again the ordering and checkout were seamless. Postage was added to my order.

This bra arrived in the post.

It was wrapped in tissue paper inside a post-pack.

That’s a better start.

The bra looked considerably different to the photo online. The colour was a lot more beige than the photo looked to me. I do not make beige underwear for a reason. I intensely dislike beige!

Not a great start.

This bra was slightly more successful when I tried it on, but still too big. The band was slightly big. It felt loose in sections. It was the way it was shaped. Again, I am used to my custom bras which I put a lot more shaping in for a better fit. And again, an unfair comparison as this bra is half the price of mine. The cup was slightly big, which even slightly big just doesn’t work.

It was a good shape and had very nice shape bra straps. Loved that part.

I emailed the shop for assistance. It’s been a couple of days and I haven’t had a reply. That”s okay. People do get busy and there were a lot of sicknesses around at the time, sadly.

Bra #C

So, is this the lucky last bra? Nearly.

Ordering online was again super easy. Free shipping, at last!

When the package arrived the bra was wrapped in tissue paper inside a post-pack.

The colour was a little bit paler than I expected but pretty good.

It felt flimsy to me. Not a fair comparison again. I am just not used to handling flimsy bras. Even my sheer bras feel not as flimsy.

I was full of hope when I tried this one on.

It”s so close. If I had never worn custom bras, I would have considered this one a good fit. The shape is supportive and gives good forward projection. That’s what a bra is supposed to do!

I’m going to wear this one to test its durability and ongoing comfort.

ruched bottom undies
What I’ve learnt from being the customer.

I have learnt a lot from my shopping experience.

I felt anticipation, disappointment and a little bit of fear!

A good returns policy is so important when shopping online. That’s why I offer a 100% love-it guarantee. I want customers who just can’t wait to see the next fabrics or collections. The fit, comfort and quality are the highest priorities for me. I know I use the best quality in everything. But it all starts with the fit. The extra questions I ask and the extra fitting I do makes such a difference. This experience was slightly unfair as the bras I ordered were around half the price of my bras. I was using this as a test to come up with problems or concerns that may exist, so I can overcome these for my customers.

The packaging didn’t make the bras feel very special. They felt a bit uncared for.

The fit was not surprising. It is so difficult to figure out sizing across brands. I used each brand’s bra calculator and came up with such different sizing I decided to stick with what I knew my size was. But that’s in true to size. The cups can’t do their job if the band and/or the underwires don’t fit like a glove! The cups don’t stand a chance.

Probably the biggest point I got from this is to be contactable if something goes wrong. Most people want a good outcome. Not always a refund, but that needs to be an available option if wanted.

So, that was my shopping experience.

Happy shopping xx

Bra V Bralette

When to wear a bra versus when to wear a bralette.

bra v bralette

When to wear a bra versus when to wear a bralette, giving options can be life-changing. Once you understand the basics for making this decision, you will get much more out of your lingerie wardrobe.

Your cup size will be a determining factor, along with what you are planning on wearing, and where you will be.

Bralettes- what features to look for and how to wear them.

bralette

Wearing a bralette when relaxing at home, is a great option for a fuller bust or a bust that feels more comfortable with a bit of support, as opposed to wearing no form of bust support at all. This is also a good option in hot, humid weather. The bralette will assist the bust in being lifted, so your bust won’t be sitting against the skin creating unnecessary heat and moisture!

You’re best to choose a bralette that offers cup sizes, preferably either a lined cup or padded cup. This will create a better fit and more support, but still with the comfort of a bralette.

Bralettes work well in summer under loose or full dresses. This is unstructured dressing, so a bra is not necessarily the look required. They also can be a good option under a chunky knit jumper in winter. Again, unstructured dressing, so the choice is yours.

Bras- when to wear a bra.

A well-fitting bra gives you support and shape. A more controlled, structured look. This may sound severe, but, as we know, a bra that fits you perfectly is often more comfortable than not wearing a bra at all.

Wearing a bra minimises bounce, and creates a fuller look to the bust as it supports. Wearing a bra will give a great shape under both a soft garment, like a t-shirt, knitted top or dress, or a more structured garment. A fitted dress or top would be an example of this. Any more tailored item of clothing will usually give the best shape and fit, wearing a bra.

A smaller or firmer bust will be able to have more options on which to wear. Still, a general rule is for a more structured look or shape, choose a bra over a bralette.

The Australian connection to Eucalan

Hand washing your lingerie in Eucalan Delicate Wash is what I recommend. Globally renowned, Eucalan, is one of the best lingerie-washing products available. This is the story of the Australian connection to Eucalan.

The Australian connection in the creation of Eucalan

Mary Ellen Edgar is the founder of Eucalan. Her inspiring story began with visiting a friend in Australia. Mrs Edgar learnt very quickly, that water was not to be wasted when she visited during a drought. After testing a Ministry of Agriculture home remedy no-rinse laundry product for woollens, Mrs Edgar was amazed at the results. Encouraged and enthusiastic, Mrs Edgar proceeded to produce a new product on a commercial level.

This is the birth of Eucalan!

The Eucalan name: another connection to its Australian beginnings

The name, Eucalan, is the combination of two prominent ingredients from the original formula- eucalyptus and lanolin.

Eucalan is now available in a variety of fragrances including the original eucalyptus, which we all love. The fragrant lavender, like the eucalyptus, has moth-inhibiting qualities. Fresh fragranced grapefruit-scented Eucalan has natural disinfectant properties. Jasmine is just pretty!

Scent-sensitive skin can use the non-scented option.

Eucalan can be used for hand-washing, as well as both front and top-loading washing machines.

The pods of Eucalan are ideal to take travelling, to basin wash your delicates.

How to handwash your precious lingerie in Eucalan

Follow the Eucalan recommendation for washing bras and undies, which I have listed below.

The Basics

How To Use Eucalan

Eucalan Delicate Wash is perfectly suited to many items.

Hand Wash:

  1. Fill a basin with tepid water (room temperature water, not hot and not cold)
  2. Add Eucalan to the basin.
  3. Insert article to be washed and soak for 15 min. (minimum).
  4. Squeeze the article gently to incorporate water and soap through fibres.
  5. Rinsing is not necessary. You can if you want to use the extra water.
  6. Pull the article out of the water and gently squeeze out excess water. Do not twist or ring.
  7. Follow the drying instructions below.

Machine Wash:

NB: I do not recommend machine washing for your precious lingerie.

Front Load Machine:

  1. Select Rinse and Spin or Hand Wash/Delicate cycle. Cold or tepid water.
  2. Add Eucalan to the softener drawer.
  3. Load articles into the machine and start the cycle.
  4. Follow the drying instructions below.

Top Load Machine:

  1. Select gentle cycle and add cold water.
  2. Add 2 or 3 capfuls of Eucalan to the machine.
  3. Stop machine. Load washables and squeeze gently to saturate.
  4. Allow soaking for 15 – 30 min. (minimum).
  5. Gently squeeze articles again.
  6. By-pass rinse cycle.
  7. Spin water out.
  8. Follow the drying instructions below.

*Use 5ml per 4L of water (more for heavily soiled items)

**Use 15-30mL per load (adjust the amount based on the size of the load)

Drying:

Dry all items out of direct heat and sunlight.

Lay delicate articles flat on a clean dry towel. Roll the article in a towel to remove excess moisture. Lay flat to dry on a drying rack or clean dry towel.

Lingerie

The word LINGERIE encompasses a lot of different items, including bras, camis, hosiery, medical hosiery, shapewear, costumes and panties to name a few. Eucalan’s gentle no-rinse formula is delicate enough to care for all your lingerie. Choose calming lavender or energizing grapefruit scents with the bonus that these essential oils have antiseptic properties, which are beneficial for garments that lie close to the skin. You may want to try the intoxicating scent of Jasmine!

Bras:

Bras should be washed after every wear to keep them clean and help them maintain their shape. Washing does not deteriorate bras: body oils, lotions and potions, and simply wearing your bra contributes to fibre wear and tear. Washing keeps fibres clean and helps elastic maintain its original tension.

  • Follow directions for hand washing. If you choose to machine wash, ensure fasteners are closed and place any bras in a mesh laundry bag or pillowcase to help protect them from other garments.

Follow the handwashing instructions from Eucalan. I highly recommend it.

Your precious lingerie will thank you! And the environment.
